The program includes supper and beverage, highlight clips of signees and press release information for each signee plus a recruiting re-cap by Head Coach Maurice Drayton and his staff of each signee.

Maurice Drayton Golf Tournament at Summerville Country Club

This event was started back in the early 1980’s by Buford Blanton ’54 former player and owner of Summerville Country Club to raise money for the football program. Through his generosity in donating the course and golf carts to participants, this tournament over the last thirty-four years has raised well over $325,000.00.

Most of the football staff participates as players on individual foursomes and the rest help as needed in the operation of the tournament that day. This is a great opportunity to get to know a coach or coaches and develop a bond with our staff and football the football program.

Thanks to all that have participated over this years as a player and/or a sponsor at this event and hope you will consider doing so again this year to make this a successful day!

CFA Bulls Bay Golf Tournament

The Inaugural CFA Golf Tournament was held at Bulls Bay on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Through the hard work and dedication of Zan Edens and Jason Barley of the CFA Board and along with Doug Carnes and Steve Peper this dream became a reality. This beautiful course is located off of Hwy 17 North towards Georgetown in Awendaw, SC.

The Fourth Annual CFA Golf Tournament was held on Tuesday, May 19 at the Daniel Island Golf Club. This was the largest number to participate to date for this tournament. Many positive comments were made about the course and facilities before and after the event.
